Logistics Systems Engineer (d/f/m) (Aerospace)

Location: Donauwörth, Germany; work based at the hirify.global Helicopters site

hirify.global Helicopters develops helicopters from initial concept through airworthy production and operates an on-site test airfield.

What you will do

• Design logistics processes, infrastructure solutions, warehouse layouts, material flows, and handling concepts for intra- and inter-site operations.
• Analyse inbound, picking, kitting, and outbound shopfloor logistics to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Create and update logistics work instructions and ensure operational solutions are handed over smoothly to production.
• Monitor process execution, identify inconsistencies, and support corrective action plans across hirify.global Helicopters sites.
• Provide functional support to site leads and warehouse teams while supporting logistics digitalisation initiatives.
• Ensure logistics solutions comply with strategic, quality, export control, environmental, and other relevant policies.

Requirements

• Degree in logistics or a related technical field.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in logistics engineering, field service, or logistics platforms.
• Strong knowledge of process design, process optimisation, and implementation of new processes.
• Experience with SAP systems; SAP EWM warehouse management experience is preferred.
• Business-level German and English are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex corporate environment; basic quality management knowledge is desirable.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of French.
