Production Planner (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile working according to the area of responsibility; the company operates in Augsburg, Bremen, and Kourou.

hirify.global develops, manufactures, and tests high-performance metal and fibre-composite components for launch vehicles, satellites, spacecraft, and aircraft as part of the OHB Group.

What you will do

• Schedule production orders and determine production sequences based on deadlines, production capacity, and material availability.
• Manage orders in SAP and monitor forecasts and production schedules.
• Coordinate planning with relevant departments and initiate corrective measures when schedules deviate.
• Optimize master data, including safety stock, lead times, and standard delivery times.
• Conduct analyses and evaluations for corporate planning.
• Help define the company-wide S&OP process and optimize planning in SAP R3 and SAP S/4HANA.

Requirements

• Master craftsman, technician, or technical degree.
• Several years of experience in scheduling and production control, preferably in machining, forming, assembly, or welding.
• Very good knowledge of SAP R3 or SAP S/4HANA, especially the PP, SD, and MM modules.
• Experience with supply chain processes, supplier management, and manufacturing or assembly of large aerospace components and assemblies.
• Proactive, independent, hands-on approach to work.
• Fluent spoken and written English; proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
