Senior Manager, International Business Controller (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid role based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom; other job posting locations include Diegem, Belgium; Prague, Czechia; and Ringaskiddy, Ireland. Up to 20% international travel may be required.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech develops healthcare and medical device solutions, with the Orthopedics business planned to operate as the standalone DePuy Synthes company.

What you will do

• Provide financial leadership and business partnering to international commercial and operational teams.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned international regions.
• Analyze financial performance, risks, and opportunities and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Support pricing, investment, profitability, and margin management decisions.
• Improve reporting accuracy, timeliness, standardization, and financial processes across markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including business controlling or financial planning.
• Experience supporting international or multi-country operations.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder partnering capabilities.
• Understanding of internal controls, compliance, financial governance, and statutory reporting.
• Fluent English required; advanced Excel and financial systems experience, such as ERP or planning tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Experience in a global matrixed organization, medical devices, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
• People leadership, commercial finance, pricing, margin management, or finance transformation experience.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
• Additional European language skills.
