What you will do

• Analyze monthly Profit & Loss results and explain variances against budgets, forecasts, and historical trends.
• Support annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecast preparation, consolidation, and submission.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute monthly and quarterly management reports with financial commentary.
• Act as an introductory Finance liaison for assigned operational and business functions.
• Develop customized financial analysis and reporting models for ad-hoc business projects.
• Investigate discrepancies across ERP and financial reporting tools to maintain data integrity.

Requirements

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookup functions and data handling.
• Experience or working familiarity with computerized accounting and ERP systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, or Essbase.
• Understanding of P&L reporting, variance analysis, account reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Foundation in accounting standards, including US GAAP or local statutory requirements, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong accuracy, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively during monthly and quarterly closing cycles and forecast submissions.
