EPM Solution Engineer (Hyperion/EPM)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work model. The role operates globally, requires collaboration across time zones, and involves up to 20% travel.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Hyperion and related EPM applications across their full lifecycle.
• Validate technical designs and oversee development against coding, architecture, security, and quality standards.
• Manage metadata, member lists, FX rates, business rules, validation checks, reports, and dashboards.
• Coordinate second- and third-level support with business users, infrastructure teams, application outsourcers, and service managers.
• Manage requirements, implementation plans, documentation, incidents, service quality checks, and improvement plans.
• Oversee patching, backups, application copies, year-end rollover, and financial closing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience with Hyperion or related EPM products.
• Experience in financial planning and budgeting, Enterprise Data Management and Essbase, financial consolidation and closing, or EPM technical architecture.
• Solid experience developing EPM systems and applying IT Service Management and ITIL processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid, collaborate across time zones, and travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Front-end customer support experience.
• Experience in business analysis and defining business cases.
