Digital Lead for Additive Manufacturing (f/m/d)

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end digital data and process chains for wire-arc additive manufacturing across production and quality assurance.
• Develop manufacturing data architectures, databases, and governance frameworks for secure, compliant, and scalable data management.
• Integrate production equipment, sensors, quality systems, manufacturing execution systems, and enterprise applications.
• Deploy process monitoring, metrology, and digital quality assurance solutions to improve process stability and real-time visibility.
• Apply data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies to optimize manufacturing performance and product quality.
• Develop user-focused dashboards and reporting solutions and build partnerships with research institutions and technology providers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Extensive experience leading digitalization initiatives in manufacturing from concept development through industrial implementation.
• Project management experience in software development and deployment of digital solutions for industrial production processes.
• Experience collaborating with research institutes, universities, technology providers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success developing scalable, standardized solutions for multiple sites and global manufacturing networks.
• Strategic ability to translate manufacturing requirements into sustainable digital solutions, data strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
