Customer Engineer-DDP (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Dalian, China; onsite work with clean-room and customer-site requirements

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and address technical issues with support from senior field service engineers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with customers and senior engineers to understand process flows, requirements, roadmaps, and business challenges.
• Coordinate directly with customers and provide technical communication and support.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet onsite safety and environmental requirements, work in clean rooms, use personal protective equipment, and perform physically demanding work.
