Associate - Customer Support (FinOps)

What you will do

• Manage cloud financial operations across AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud, including native cost and usage tools, pricing mechanics, consumption drivers, and contractual models.
• Analyze discount and commitment programs such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Committed Use Discounts, including financial trade-offs and commitment risks.
• Build cost allocation, chargeback, showback, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, anomaly detection, and optimization governance practices.
• Evaluate cloud infrastructure and platform architectures across compute, storage, networking, databases, and PaaS through cost, performance, resilience, and regulatory lenses.
• Design and validate cloud cost data pipelines that normalize multi-cloud billing data for dashboards, reporting, and investment governance.
• Translate cloud cost and architecture decisions into financial narratives while influencing engineering, finance, procurement, risk, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in FinOps, cloud cost optimization, cloud operations, or financial governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner and FOCUS Analyst certifications are mandatory.
• Strong financial acumen covering budget ownership, purchase orders, shared cost allocation, forecasting, variance analysis, unit costs, and cost-to-serve modeling.
• Advanced experience interpreting and normalizing cloud billing data for allocation, chargeback/showback, auditability, and executive reporting.
• Experience driving cost-aware architecture and FinOps adoption within regulated enterprises or banking environments.

Nice to have

• FinOps for AI certification.
• Cloud Solutions Architect certification from AWS, Azure, or an equivalent provider.
