Lecturer (Level B) in Midwifery

Location: Primarily based at hirify.global Logan campus, Australia; may require work across other university locations

Salary: AUD 117,076–139,031 per annum plus 17% superannuation; total package AUD 136,979–162,667 per annum

What you will do

• Teach midwifery courses in a teaching-focused academic role.
• Coordinate courses and contribute to curriculum development.
• Apply demonstrated clinical midwifery expertise to tertiary education.
• Undertake learning and teaching research or scholarship.
• Supervise Honours and higher-degree research students when eligible.

Requirements

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered midwife.
• Minimum Master's qualification in midwifery or an equivalent qualification.
• Previous midwifery teaching experience in the tertiary sector.

Nice to have

• Ahpra endorsement for scheduled medication for midwives.
• Completion of or enrolment in a doctoral program in midwifery or a relevant field.
