Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering (NPI)

What you will do

• Lead New Product Introduction initiatives and transfer products and processes from engineering development through pilot production and high-volume manufacturing.
• Develop manufacturing process flows, validation strategies, work instructions, SOPs, process records, and production controls.
• Plan and execute validation and qualification protocols, manufacturing readiness assessments, qualification builds, customer samples, and pilot production activities.
• Conduct PFMEAs, design reviews, manufacturing assessments, design freeze reviews, and risk mitigation activities.
• Design and implement fixtures, jigs, assembly tools, and manufacturing solutions to improve productivity and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and structured problem-solving methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of engineering or manufacturing experience, preferably in semiconductor, high-tech, medical device, or plastics industries.
• Strong knowledge of NPI, product transfers, validation, and high-volume manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Minitab, statistical analysis, PFMEA, process validation, manufacturing assessments, and production readiness.
• Knowledge of injection molding, assembly processes, tooling, technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple projects, troubleshoot technical issues, and travel internationally as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with FEA, CFD, or Moldflow simulation tools.
• Experience in injection molding products, tooling, and manufacturing process development.
