Game Security Analyst - Ricochet Anti-Cheat (Call of Duty)

Location: Sherman Oaks, United States

Salary: $30.47–$56.35 hourly in the U.S.; incentive compensation may also be available but is not guaranteed.

What you will do

• Investigate suspicious player accounts using gameplay telemetry, behavioral signals, and internal anti-cheat tools.
• Review evidence related to cheating, exploitation, boosting, fraud, and other integrity violations.
• Make consistent enforcement decisions, including account bans and other disciplinary actions.
• Identify cheating patterns and emerging behaviors across the player population.
• Partner with engineering and data teams to improve detection quality, validate new detections, and reduce false positives.
• Document investigations, support incident response, and improve enforcement workflows and best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in game security, trust and safety, fraud detection, player support investigations, cybersecurity, or a related analytical field.
• Experience investigating anomalous behavior, abuse, fraud, policy violations, or suspicious activity.
• Experience working with large behavioral datasets and analyzing player activity using SQL.
• Experience with investigative workflows and case management systems, along with knowledge of data analysis techniques and metrics.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, written communication, documentation, judgment, and evidence-based decision-making skills.
• Understanding of cheating, exploitation, abuse, and competitive integrity challenges in online multiplayer games.

Nice to have

• Experience in anti-cheat operations or trust and safety environments.
• Python or scripting experience for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with machine-learning-assisted detection systems or large-scale moderation and enforcement programs.
• Familiarity with Call of Duty gameplay systems, common cheating methods, game telemetry, and cheat distribution communities.
