General Manager (Optical)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates while supporting recruitment, retention, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor store performance and deliver strong customer and patient experiences in partnership with the Doctor.
• Conduct audits, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Report accurately to the District Manager and maintain associate records.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and business performance skills.
• Some locations may require specific licenses or credentials under state law.
