Licensed Optician (Bilingual Spanish)

Location: Rancho Palos Verdes, California, United States; onsite, part-time retail position.

What you will do

• Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses, including customer training on contact lens insertion and removal.
• Provide patient care, product education, and customer service while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain accurate patient records, manage order follow-up, and conduct weekly customer outreach.
• Reduce remakes, follow safety standards, and support operational excellence.
• Manage inventory, merchandising standards, and store organization.
• Mentor Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Fluent reading and speaking of English and Spanish.
• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• At least 3 years of related experience or training.
• Strong customer service, communication, selling, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Professional and comfortable working with a variety of people.

Nice to have

• Previous retail experience.
