Senior/Lead Product Design Contractor (AI)

Compensation: $100–$130 per hour

What you will do

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, make decisions, and ship product updates.
• Apply strategic thinking to sequence execution, prioritize initiatives, and make informed product bets.
• Design membership and consumer experiences that scale across markets while retaining local relevance.
• Evolve the visual and motion language, including systems that guide attention and confirm user actions.
• Use AI tools and front-end code to explore, communicate, and advance design concepts.
• Contribute to and extend the evolving design system.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience researching, designing, and shipping consumer-facing digital products across iOS, Android, and web.
• Extensive B2C experience and a track record of taking concepts through release and post-launch learning.
• Strong skills in prioritization, scope estimation, product execution, and delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, feedback facilitation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Fluency with AI prompting, context preparation, critical evaluation of generated output, and iterative refinement.
• Strong design systems thinking, visual and interaction design judgment, branding, illustration, color theory, and visual storytelling skills.

Culture & Benefits

• Remote, project-based contract engagement for up to 30 hours per week.
• Fixed-term engagement expected to run for 5–6 months, through March 19, 2027.
• Expected start during the week of September 28 or October 5, 2026.
• Work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
