Site Quality Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead and develop the site quality organization supporting Circuit Card Assembly production and new product introductions.
• Manage quality supervisors, engineers, technicians, and inspectors, including staffing, performance reviews, coaching, and career development.
• Develop and enforce quality-control procedures, inspection plans, sampling plans, and inspection methods.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for yield, reliability, and field failures using 8D, DMAIC, and 5 Whys.
• Maintain compliance with IPC, MIL, ISO, AS9100, customer, and applicable industry standards.
• Partner with production, supply chain, program management, design engineering, and customers on issue resolution, technical presentations, failure analysis, and escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in electronics or Circuit Card Assembly manufacturing.
• Experience with AS9100 quality systems and familiarity with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and ESD control practices.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and data-analysis skills.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, and process-capability analysis.
• Onsite work in Salt Lake City, Utah is required; the role may require occasional travel to suppliers, customers, or other company sites.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous-improvement certification.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other highly regulated electronics manufacturing.
