Production Supervisor (Nights) (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston - Missouri City, Texas, United States. Onsite production-floor role working 12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or according to production demand.

What you will do

• Supervise assigned production-shift operations and ensure safety, quality, throughput, housekeeping, and customer-delivery targets are met.
• Review production schedules, assign team members, verify jobs in Oracle and warehouse or line management systems, and complete shift performance reports.
• Inspect raw materials, perform first-pass quality checks after changeovers, and maintain compliance with GMP and food safety standards.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and other departments to resolve line downtime and improve equipment performance, production methods, and product quality.
• Hire, train, coach, review, and manage team members in partnership with Human Resources and Production leadership.
• Lead safety talks, daily safety and production meetings, hourly safety walks, and conflict-resolution activities.

Requirements

• Regular and predictable attendance and the ability to work onsite in Houston - Missouri City, Texas, are required.
• At least 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar field, in the position, and managing people or projects; experience and education may be combined.
• Understanding of production processes and controls.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's degree is preferred.
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour day or night shifts and adapt to production demand.
• No foreign language is required.

Nice to have

• Six years of experience in manufacturing or a similar field, in the position, and managing people or projects.
• Associate's degree.
