Financial Analyst - East Real Estate Operations (Real Estate)

Location: Bethesda, Maryland, USA; in-office 5 days a week

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually plus a 10% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Provide financial reporting and actionable insights to support business performance.
• Support business groups with analytics, data modeling, and strategic decision-making.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and monthly forecasting, including projection analysis and documentation of assumptions.
• Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Produce monthly senior management reporting and support quarterly earnings and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare quarterly reporting for the board of directors and shareholders.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical discipline.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, including multi-year forecasting.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and develop practical solutions to complex situations.
• Strong financial writing and presentation skills are highly desirable.
• Ability to work in the Bethesda office 5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hyperion PBCS, VBA, SQL, or Power BI.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders.
