Sr. DevSecOps Engineer II (AWS)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States. Employment requires verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Salary: $200,000–$220,000 per year, with potential performance-based bonuses and other incentives.

What you will do

• Design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classification environments with customers and internal teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI and Jenkins with security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
• Create CloudFormation-based infrastructure-as-code templates for highly available, secure DevSecOps tooling across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.
• Perform advanced Linux and application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service degradation mitigation.
• Guide development teams on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, ATO support, and DevSecOps practices.
• Design secure Docker images and OpenShift deployments, remediate Prisma Cloud findings, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• IAT Level 2 certification, such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
• 7+ years of DevSecOps or similar experience across infrastructure automation, scalability, reliability, and classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
• Expert experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, or Prisma Cloud.
• Strong scripting experience with Python or Bash in Linux environments, plus infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Strong AWS architecture and security experience, including STIG/SRG compliance, vulnerability management, OWASP, NIST, and OpenSCAP.
