DevSecOps Professionals (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: Tysons, Virginia, United States; hybrid with onsite work at hirify.global headquarters at least 3 days per week

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure and maintain DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube.
• Implement and support containerized application platforms using AWS managed services such as EKS.
• Develop, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, deploy, and support automation and scripting solutions that improve capabilities, visibility, and efficiency.
• Recommend technology directions aligned with business goals and provide solutions based on AWS expertise.
• Work across teams to understand requirements and support software engineering projects.

Requirements

• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Kubernetes foundation and experience supporting containerized workloads in AWS.
• Knowledge of software engineering and full software development lifecycle best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Basic networking knowledge plus experience with debugging, troubleshooting, log searching, metrics, monitoring, alerting, and dashboards.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, or distributed systems.
• AWS Associate or Professional certification.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience with US federal or Department of Defense customers.
