Branch Manager

Location: Fully onsite at 211 East Holly Street, Bellingham, Washington 98225, United States

Salary: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, with potential performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and coach branch associates while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
• Manage branch P&L, expenses, deposit and loan portfolios, and growth targets.
• Develop new and existing consumer and small-business relationships within the local community.
• Ensure efficient branch operations and consistent satisfactory audit results.
• Partner with Retail and cross-functional bank leaders to provide client solutions aligned with business strategy.
• Act as a Bank MLO for permitted open-end transactions, including home equity lines of credit.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of banking experience, including consumer lending and exposure to business lending origination.
• Two years of banking or retail management experience, including team leadership, coaching, supervision, hiring, termination, and labor law compliance preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of banking products and services, consumer lending, portfolio management, and small-business banking challenges.
• Registration as a Bank MLO and compliance with applicable SAFE Act requirements are required; closed-end MLO activities are not authorized.
• Ability to work fully onsite at the Bellingham, Washington location is required.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, vocational or technical degree in banking, business, or a related field.
• Membership in local community organizations.
• Notary certification.
