Inside Sales Representative (Electrical Distribution)

Location: San Antonio, TX, United States; on-site branch and warehouse-related duties may be required.

What you will do

• Drive proactive inside sales and marketing through telephone and email outreach.
• Process customer orders, quotations, proposals, product pricing, delivery specifications, and payment terms.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, manage an assigned customer base, and prospect for new accounts within a defined territory.
• Support outside sales personnel, promote products through digital tools, answer technical questions, and identify additional sales opportunities.
• Evaluate customer needs, resolve issues using root-cause analysis, and follow up throughout the purchasing cycle.
• Provide market, competitor, pricing, product, and trend information; support branch activities including order preparation, stocking, staging, and shipping when required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic/intermediate product and application knowledge, with the ability to handle related issues and problems.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, negotiation, interpersonal, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and customer relationship management tools.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and perform occasional physical activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working with warehouse equipment.
