Senior Project Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; onsite with the client 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure IT projects for government and transport clients.
• Manage a portfolio of projects across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, safety, and change management.
• Coordinate project teams to define objectives, deliverables, resources, and execution plans.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare status reports and lead weekly or fortnightly client governance forums.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements, company strategy, and governance standards.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering complex IT infrastructure projects for government agencies or departments.
• Experience deploying and migrating network, firewall, security, desktop, and cloud technologies.
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience, including 5 or more years in a similar role.
• Proven project and program management experience, including project management methodologies, tools, and software.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work onsite with the client 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
