What you will do

• Lead the Victorian development portfolio and manage multiple Melbourne data centre projects from site evaluation and land acquisition through approvals, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Set campus development strategies, convert customer opportunities into executable developments, and maintain portfolio plans covering dependencies, risks, resources, approvals, and delivery readiness.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners across design, construction, commercial, cost, procurement, operations, finance, legal, sustainability, and customer functions.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow, contracts, procurement decisions, investment papers, governance submissions, and commercial exposures.
• Engage with government authorities, utilities, landowners, consultants, contractors, customers, and community stakeholders to secure approvals and resolve constraints.
• Build a high-performing development team and improve governance, reporting, risk management, project controls, data use, and standardized ways of working.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience developing and delivering large-scale projects.
• Senior leadership experience delivering complex data centre, critical infrastructure, industrial, property, or similar development projects in Victoria.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or a significant development portfolio across the full development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of planning and statutory approvals, utilities, design management, procurement, construction readiness, and operational handover.
• Experience managing significant capital expenditure and multidisciplinary teams, with strong capability in budgets, cost plans, contracts, risk, governance, and investment decisions.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in property, engineering, construction, project management, business, or a related discipline.
