IT Project Manager

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia (hybrid), with flexible work-from-home days available.

Independent producer of family-focused 2D and 3D animation entertainment, creating feature films and television series for more than 50 years.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a portfolio of small-to-medium IT projects across desktop, systems, infrastructure and service management.
• Own and maintain the enterprise operations roadmap, covering IT initiatives and wider business systems projects such as HR platforms.
• Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, changes and delivery reporting.
• Coordinate technical delivery with the Platforms & Infrastructure team and align initiatives with Pipeline Project Managers and R&D.
• Gather requirements, communicate project status and coordinate changes, cutovers and rollouts with technical, production and corporate stakeholders.
• Improve IT Service Management practices and maintain project plans, decision logs, status reports and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Around three years of experience coordinating or managing projects in IT, technology or operations.
• Demonstrated ability to run small-to-medium projects and manage scope, schedules, risks and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisation and prioritisation skills across multiple concurrent projects.
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• General IT literacy sufficient to engage with engineers across desktop, systems and infrastructure topics.
• Experience with roadmaps, IT Service Management, business systems or vendor procurement is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with HR or payroll platforms such as Employment Hero.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management and service desk tooling.
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2, CAPM, PMP or Agile.
• Experience liaising with vendors on procurement, delivery timelines and implementation.
