Wiring Technician (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Assemble, lay out, and wire industrial control panels, sub-panels, marshaling cabinets, and related components.
• Measure, cut, strip, crimp, terminate, route, bundle, and loom power and control wiring.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and internal standards.
• Mount field devices, junction-box components, DIN rails, wire ducting, and other electrical hardware using hand and power tools.
• Apply wire markers and component labels, inspect completed panels, and verify routing, torque marks, crimps, and drawing compliance.
• Maintain a safe, orderly 5S workspace and coordinate drawing updates, materials, and process improvements with production leads and engineers.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training in electrical systems, electronics, or industrial technology.
• 0–2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronic assembly, control panel wiring, or an electrician apprenticeship.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring run lists, connection diagrams, and mechanical assembly layouts.
• Foundational knowledge of AC/DC principles, power and control circuits, wire gauge sizing, and color coding.
• Proficiency with wire strippers, crimpers, drills, taps, torque drivers, and precision measuring tools.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring participation in a drug and alcohol program, a comprehensive background check, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift or move up to 50 pounds for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Electrical or mechatronics certificate or associate degree.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 or UL 508A standards.
• Experience with conduit bending, cable tray routing, lean manufacturing, modular data center production, or engineering drawing redlines.
