Building Wireman

Location: Fontana, California, United States; onsite production-floor role

Salary: $18.59–$25.10 per hour

What you will do

• Install electrical components and wiring for enclosure-building manufacturing projects.
• Review blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures, and work instructions.
• Assemble sheet-metal panels for enclosure doors, walls, roofs, and trusses.
• Use power tools and hand tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, grinders, tape measures, and wire crimpers.
• Perform quality checks, identify product defects, and record and report issues.
• Maintain workstation supplies, tools, parts, cleanliness, and safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience wiring or installing electrical components.
• Ability to interpret written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work accurately to technical specifications.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 35 pounds, distinguish colored wires and components, and wear required PPE.
