Senior Data Analyst (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Hybrid work from hirify.global offices in Mountain View, San Francisco, or Pittsburgh, with at least 3 days per week in the office.

Salary: $115,000–$184,000 per year for Mountain View and San Francisco; $104,000–$166,000 per year for Pittsburgh. Annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits are also available.

What you will do

• Develop reporting and analytics to increase the value of data collected from hirify.global’s growing truck fleet.
• Analyze online on-road and offline simulation data supporting autonomous vehicle development and commercialization.
• Partner with Data Science and Software leadership to assess and prioritize data-sourcing efforts.
• Design and implement metrics and dashboards that help Software teams measure and improve development performance.
• Collaborate with the Data Science and Analytics community on tooling for data analytics workflows.

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
• Experience delivering data analytics projects end to end, including business-needs analysis, data pipelines, engineering rigor, and communicating insights.
• Advanced SQL and relational database experience, including PostgreSQL, plus familiarity with data engineering best practices.
• Intermediate knowledge of analytics infrastructure, dbt, and visualization tools; competent Python programming skills.
• Ability to solve open-ended problems, build scalable data solutions, and communicate technical analysis to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work from an hirify.global office at least 3 days per week in Mountain View, San Francisco, or Pittsburgh; U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience with classification, clustering, or other data science workflows.
• Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or advanced transportation.
• Experience using AWS tools.
