Salary: $88,000–$121,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonus eligibility

What you will do

  • Develop complete electromechanical verification test plans, methods, protocols, reports, and requirements traceability.
  • Lead planning and execution of verification and validation projects, including schedules and coordination with project management, design, quality, regulatory, and R&D teams.
  • Design test cases, setups, procedures, equipment, materials, and acceptance criteria based on requirements and standards.
  • Perform functional testing of mechanical assemblies, electrical circuits, and integrated systems, including prototype feasibility and characterization testing.
  • Analyze designs and requirements, reverse-engineer products, assess test impact, and define test scope and coverage.
  • Design and qualify hardware and software fixtures and tools, analyze test data, and communicate results to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and 5+ years of test engineering experience.
  • Experience with medical device systems, verification and validation plans, procedures, reports, equipment, and test methods.
  • Hands-on experience with electromechanical testing, fault diagnosis and isolation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to create detailed documentation, prioritize multiple tasks, and coordinate engineers and technicians.
  • Experience collaborating effectively across disciplines and project teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take ownership, manage ambiguity, and support team and department goals.
