Salesforce Developer, Partnerships (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid work with staff expected to be in an office at least 25% of the time

Annual compensation: $270,000–$345,000 USD, including base salary and target sales commissions or bonuses.

What you will do

• Design and build Salesforce infrastructure for deal registration, channel-conflict detection, partner attribution, account hierarchies, and co-sell opportunity management.
• Develop and maintain Apex triggers, services, selectors, batch and queueable jobs, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation.
• Build integrations with cloud marketplaces including AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as PRM tools and middleware.
• Configure partner-facing portals with appropriate sharing, visibility, and licensing models.
• Use Claude and internal AI development tools for implementation, code review, testing, and verification.
• Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Partnerships, Finance, DevOps, and engineering stakeholders on data models, releases, controls, documentation, and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Production Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow.
• Experience with partner or channel functionality such as deal registration, partner portals, attribution models, or co-sell opportunity management.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external platforms through REST or Bulk APIs, middleware such as Workato or MuleSoft, or direct callouts.
• Fluency with SFDX, source-controlled metadata, sandbox-to-production releases, peer review, and deployment tooling.
• Active experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor, including steering and verifying generated output.
• Basic SQL skills, familiarity with data warehouses, and effective communication with sales, partnerships, finance, and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certifications.
• Advanced Administrator or Application/System Architect certification.
• Knowledge of governor limits, bulkification, sharing and visibility, recursion control, and other Salesforce platform constraints.
• Cloud-marketplace integration experience or familiarity with Workspan.
• Experience scaling Salesforce in a high-growth go-to-market environment.
