Business Excellence Engineer Co-Op (Lean/Six Sigma)

What you will do

• Drive operational improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Execute projects that reduce costs and inventory while improving process flow.
• Develop current-state and future-state value stream maps for assigned areas.
• Prioritize improvement tasks and track project execution plans.
• Support kaizen teams, 6S activities, dashboards, scorecards, visual aids, standard work, checklists, and time studies.
• Work with operations, support groups, and transactional areas while coaching improvement participants.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, technology, programming, or a related field.
• Completed at least the freshman year and be enrolled at an accredited institution during the internship period.
• Be at least in the third year of college and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Students on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT generally do not qualify unless they have an alternative long-term status that does not require sponsorship.
• Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills.
