Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment)

Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 80,000–100,000 yearly

What you will do

• Analyze product designs and prepare technical documentation for customer applications.
• Provide technical support on product types, materials, and designs to sales teams and customers.
• Review and approve manufacturing drawings against operating conditions and end-user requirements.
• Investigate product failures, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Meet end users on site to resolve product issues and support product installation.
• Assemble and test products as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar technical role in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, mechanical seals, compressors, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• High proficiency with MS Office and CAD software, including Solid Edge.
• Working toward a P.Eng. designation is preferred.
• Must work on site in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
