Associate Engineer - Gas Engineering

Location: Office-based in Rochester or Binghamton, New York, United States. The role is assigned to a primary corporate location and may require travel to other operating divisions, company locations, industry meetings, or training.

Salary: $74,000–$82,500 annually, plus up to a 10% performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Support gas transmission integrity management programs and implement program components for identified pipeline systems.
• Analyze high consequence area, identified site, threat evaluation, risk modeling, and pipeline integrity data.
• Maintain integrity management procedures, records, models, databases, and cathodic protection information.
• Compile leak and main-record data to prioritize pipeline replacement and system improvement projects.
• Develop and revise gas construction standards, operating and maintenance procedures, and related records.
• Provide engineering support to Gas Planning, Engineering, Delivery, and Field Operations while coordinating with contractors, consultants, municipalities, agencies, and customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Technology degree in Engineering.
• Valid driver's license.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with engineering data, regulatory requirements, industry codes, operating procedures, and technical standards.
• Ability to work from the assigned office location and travel to other operating divisions or company locations as needed.
