Senior Estimator (Gas Power Generation)

Salary: $100,561–$145,814 per year, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Lead procurement and estimating processes for gas power generation construction projects.
• Coordinate bidding procedures, perform bid reviews, and ensure accuracy and technical compliance.
• Estimate safety requirements, job hazard analysis risks, subcontractor costs, and other project expenses.
• Plan estimates, prepare preliminary project schedules, and support pre-bid meetings.
• Conduct project site visits and compare actual costs and production results with estimates.
• Mentor and develop estimating team members through training and varied work experiences.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in construction or engineering, or equivalent technical training and experience.
• Five to seven years of experience as an estimator or equivalent related experience.
• Experience or strong emphasis in gas-powered generation.
• Advanced knowledge of construction markets, estimating strategies, cost control, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
