2-Year Analyst (Asset-Backed Finance Capital Markets)

Location: New York, NY, United States; the Analyst will be based in New York.

Base salary: $120,000, plus potential eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive program.

What you will do

• Support capital markets, co-investment, and syndication efforts for asset-backed finance transactions across asset classes.
• Assist with structuring co-investment vehicles for institutional investors, incorporating legal, tax, and investor-specific considerations.
• Perform financial and profitability analyses, market research, and strategic analysis for Asset-Backed Finance initiatives.
• Prepare teasers, memoranda, investor diligence materials, and other external marketing literature.
• Track investment pipelines, investor engagement, transaction timelines, and capital sources.
• Coordinate deal execution and closing across deal teams, legal, compliance, tax, fund management, sales, and investors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of finance experience; capital markets, investment banking, structured credit, or related experience is preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-starting, detail-oriented, persistent, humble, and willing to take ownership of additional responsibilities.
