Investment Banking Analyst II/III – Private Credit Group (Private Credit)

Salary: $75,000–$110,000 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Support the origination, structuring, and execution of private credit transactions for investment banking sponsor relationships.
• Conduct credit analysis and due diligence on prospective borrowers.
• Prepare pitch books, marketing materials, preliminary term sheets, and credit approval memorandums.
• Coordinate internal approvals and documentation workflows with legal counsel, investors, and internal teams.
• Maintain investor CRM and databases, support investor outreach, and contribute to relationship management.
• Monitor closed transaction performance and trends in private credit and public debt markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, credit analysis, or private debt.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of credit metrics and accounting principles.
• Familiarity with credit legal documentation for private credit transactions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and business writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
