Nuclear Medicine Technologist II (Medtech)

What you will do

• Perform routine and complex diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and support preventive maintenance of specialized imaging equipment.
• Produce and evaluate diagnostic images, testing data, procedure documentation, and quality-control records.
• Communicate with patients and families, monitor distress, and coordinate timely support with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Manage imaging records, process logs, billing reports, supplies, and inventory according to department procedures.
• Apply radiation safety, medication administration, and patient-care standards while maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• At least 3 years of experience performing nuclear medicine examinations and procedures, or a relevant bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology from ARRT or NMTCB.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, imaging techniques, medication administration, equipment operation, and radiation safety.
• Ability to work independently on complex procedures, adapt to changing priorities, communicate clearly, and maintain quality under tight timelines.
• Ability to work on site in Memphis, Tennessee.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as radiologic technology, nuclear medicine technology, or ultrasound technology.
• Experience documenting diagnostic procedures and using Microsoft Office or other electronic systems.
• MR or CT certification.
