Location: Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; onsite patient-care role

Salary: $48.60–$61.96 per hour, based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Perform maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound procedures independently according to department policies, radiological standards, and AIUM imaging standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination requirements.
• Provide clear patient instructions and maintain patient and staff safety during examinations.
• Perform equipment quality control, maintain supplies, and keep work areas clean and functional.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and service lines.
• Train and educate students and technologists on proper procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification from ARDMS.
• ARDMS OB/GYN Specialist Certification.
• Four years of experience as an MFM Ultrasound Technologist.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, examinations, and procedures, with strong communication, organization, customer service, and independent-working skills.
• Ability to stand frequently, walk, lift 30–35 pounds, operate radiology equipment, and work around bodily fluids and communicable diseases.
