What you will do

• Administer FMLA, ADA, personal, medical, parental, military, and state-specific leave programs.
• Manage the ADA interactive process, including medical documentation, accommodations, and manager coordination.
• Coordinate return-to-work processes, fitness-for-duty certifications, transitional duty, and accommodation plans.
• Serve as the HR liaison for workers’ compensation claims and align workers’ compensation, ADA, and FMLA requirements.
• Maintain compliant leave files, deliver required notices, and track restrictions, deadlines, and follow-up dates.
• Guide employees and educate managers on leave processes, timelines, and responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience administering FMLA, ADA, or other leave programs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA, ADA, USERRA, workers’ compensation, and state leave statutes.
• Exceptional attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Strong communication, customer service, organization, and case-management skills.
• Ability to remain calm, empathetic, and professional when supporting employees through challenging situations.
