Labor & Employee Relations Specialist (North America)

Location: Fully remote within the United States; up to 15% travel required.

Annual salary: $110,000–$125,000, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Advise leaders and operating companies across North America on employee and labor relations matters.
• Manage high-volume and complex cases involving performance management, disciplinary actions, leaves, grievances, investigations, and separations.
• Conduct workplace investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with HR and the North America Labor & Employee Relations Center of Excellence to apply policies and employment laws consistently.
• Coach people leaders and support the development of employee relations policies, toolkits, procedures, and standard work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in employee relations, labor relations, HR business partnering, employment law, or a related HR discipline.
• Experience handling a broad range of employee relations matters, including high-volume and complex case management.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. labor and employment laws and employee relations best practices.
• Sound judgment, stakeholder influence, issue-resolution ability, and experience working in a matrixed environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting employee and labor relations matters in Canada or Puerto Rico.
• Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or other operational environments.
• Experience working in unionized workplaces.
