Sample Admin Specialist - Entry Level

Location: Lancaster, PA, USA; onsite and not remote. Candidates must currently live within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA. Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00–20:00. Up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Interpret client sample submissions and enter samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Assign testing, label samples, and perform label audits to ensure accurate data entry.
• Maintain accurate documentation, client files, sample storage, inventory, and reconciliation.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate with sample or project managers and client staff.
• Manage large and rush projects while meeting quality and productivity metrics.
• Follow GMP/GLP requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and sample-integrity standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to use a personal computer and learn required programs quickly.
• Strong organization, judgment, self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Effective client service, communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work the stated afternoon schedule.
