MCPP Philippines: Engineering Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Initial training and onboarding in Jacksonville, Florida, followed by placement in Subic Bay, Philippines.

What you will do

• Install, operate, maintain, and repair heavy equipment and related systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities in accordance with the contract Statement of Work and Marine Corps procedures.
• Support equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, and control of maintenance assets.
• Inspect repair parts and equipment inventories and prepare requisitions for replacement stock, materials, and supplies.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and equipment layouts.
• Follow safety regulations, storage procedures, quality standards, and required work schedules.

Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework toward a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, or equivalent education, training, certification, and experience.
• At least four years of progressive experience in heavy equipment systems maintenance and logistics support.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Valid state motor vehicle driver's license required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. passport and a work visa and Alien Employment Permit for the Philippines.
• Must pass an FBI background investigation without criminal, civil, or security violations.

Nice to have

• USMC MOS 1341.
• Industry certification.
• Knowledge of Marine Corps policies, regulations, orders, and military storage procedures.
• Expertise in maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
