Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Location: Dallas, Texas; eligibility to work in the United States required

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually, with bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Assess the mental and physical health of adolescent and adult patients, including patients across the lifespan aged 13 and older.
• Diagnose psychiatric and mental health conditions, including substance-use and dual-diagnosis conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct individual psychotherapy, prescribe psychotropic medications, and monitor medication use, side effects, and outcomes.
• Order diagnostic tests, educate patients and families, and de-escalate difficult patient interactions when necessary.
• Complete patient documentation, follow-up coordination, and required clinical forms in the EHR.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
• Experience with addiction, mental health, severe mental illness, treatment planning, and comprehensive assessments.
• Experience with motivational interviewing, EHR documentation, and telehealth technology.
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, state regulations, and national standards of care.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or assistance obtaining work eligibility is not available.

Nice to have

• Spanish proficiency or proficiency in another language.
• Previous telehealth or community mental health experience.
• Active DEA registration for clinicians holding a Florida or New York license.
