Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location: Florida, remote; eligibility to work in the United States is required. Scheduled shifts are 9am–6pm ET, 10am–7pm ET, or 11am–8pm ET.

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually, plus potential bonus.

What you will do

• Assess adolescent and adult patients’ mental and physical health and diagnose psychiatric and mental health conditions.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct individual psychotherapy, including care for acute or chronic mental disorders and severe mental illness.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications, including controlled substances, order diagnostic tests, and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families, de-escalate difficult situations, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation in the EHR while following applicable standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensure.
• Experience with addiction, mental health, dual diagnoses, adults requiring general mental health or severe mental illness treatment, and patients aged 13 and older.
• Experience with motivational interviewing, treatment planning, comprehensive assessments, EHR documentation, and telehealth technology.
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, state regulations, and national standards of care.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or assistance obtaining work eligibility is not available. Clinicians holding a Florida or New York license must maintain active DEA registration.
