Salary: $62,200–$103,600 annual (USD)

What you will do

• Manage branch activities, profitability, sales performance, operations, customer experience, and digital engagement.
• Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate branch employees, including hiring, staffing, promotions, and performance management.
• Grow Retail and Business Banking relationships through proactive outreach, community presence, needs-based sales, and product bundling.
• Handle complex account servicing and error-resolution issues while improving processes and reducing escalations.
• Process Business Banking loan requests up to $250,000 and maintain productive partnerships across the bank.
• Maintain compliance, security, fraud-prevention, audit, regulatory, and internal control standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least three years of sales experience and two years of managerial experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong knowledge of Business Banking products, services, profitability, and client relationship management.
• Ability to use common PC and Microsoft Office software for word processing and spreadsheets.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration requirements and complete M&T Business Banking Specialist requirements within 18 months of hire.
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance licensing may be required within 18 months; training is provided within six months.

• Strong financial services product knowledge and customer-service coaching experience.
