What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of complex, large-dollar commercial loan and deposit relationships.
• Interview applicants, evaluate business and credit information, and recommend relationship structures.
• Maintain portfolio quality, monitor loan compliance, and keep credit files current.
• Develop new loan, deposit, and fee-based business through a formal client call program.
• Track market trends and represent the bank in civic and community activities.
• Manage and retain existing clients while coordinating with internal partners; coach junior relationship managers when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience.
• At least seven years of commercial portfolio management experience.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, banking credit principles, bank policies, procedures, and commercial fee-based products.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, and client-facing sales skills.
• Must work in or be based in Paramus, New Jersey, United States.
