Senior Reliability Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States; travel to customer and supplier sites worldwide may be required, including approximately 10% travel.

Salary: $122,290–$183,435 annually, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead reliability engineering projects across new product development and sustaining products.
• Define and execute reliability plans, qualification activities, verification and validation tests, and release documentation.
• Drive Design for Reliability processes, tools, design reviews, and reliability requirements across engineering and manufacturing.
• Develop system reliability models, perform component-level thermo-mechanical simulations, and conduct statistical analysis.
• Gather field and customer data to report reliability metrics, forecast MTBF and availability, and guide product improvements.
• Lead failure analysis, corrective actions, and reliability reviews of engineering changes.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of Reliability Engineering experience.
• Experience with reliability and statistical analysis software such as Reliasoft, PTC Windchill, or Minitab.
• Strong knowledge of product development, manufacturing quality, reliability methods, and complex problem solving.
• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel to customer and supplier sites worldwide, approximately 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or CRE certification.
• Semiconductor capital equipment experience and familiarity with SEMI-standard reliability metrics.
