Product Quality & Reliability Engineer IV (E4) (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with 10% travel

Salary: $133,500–$183,500 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate materials, properties, components, systems, and production techniques from a product reliability perspective.
• Advise design engineering on the selection, application, and testing of electronic components and systems.
• Develop reliability requirements, acceleration techniques, analytical tools, and statistical process control methods.
• Develop and implement quality assurance programs, policies, documentation, and receiving inspection procedures.
• Perform FMECA, document CRAMs, prepare CRAM test plans with suppliers and engineers, and perform PQP at supplier sites.
• Build reliability models, manage multiple projects, and prepare quality management reports.

Requirements

• Deep or broad expertise in a specialized quality or reliability engineering discipline.
• Experience interpreting business challenges and applying best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
• Ability to lead others in solving complex problems using analytical judgment and innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate technical recommendations.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 10% travel.
