Systems Supervisor (Fintech)

Location: Onsite at a US client location; the role leads both onsite and remote team members.

Salary: $91,350–$155,300 per year.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, hire, and develop systems administration and infrastructure operations professionals.
• Manage enterprise Windows, Linux, virtualized, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure for availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Set operational objectives, service standards, KPIs, SLAs, governance practices, and technical standards.
• Drive automation, infrastructure modernization, optimization, capacity planning, lifecycle management, backup, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, escalations, service restoration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as the technical trusted advisor for managed IT services and coordinate engineering, cloud, security, operations, support, and account management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading systems administration, infrastructure operations, platform support, and geographically distributed teams in a 24x7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise operating systems, server infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technologies, networking, identity and access management, security controls, and monitoring.
• Experience with infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, operational service delivery, automation, and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, decision-making, and change leadership skills.
• Ability to work onsite at a client location and manage both onsite and remote team members.

Nice to have

• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, DevOps, observability, and service management platforms.
• Microsoft, AWS, Azure, VMware, ITIL, or related infrastructure certifications.
• Experience in fintech, regulated environments, or highly available enterprise systems.
