Associate Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Location: Vancouver office with a flexible hybrid schedule; 100% remote and in-office options are also mentioned. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 33–49 per hour

What you will do

• Design, code, test, debug, and document client-facing web applications and business process workflows.
• Build and enhance financial platform capabilities using Java, AngularJS, SQL, low-code platforms, and automation frameworks.
• Implement APIs, integrations, and workflows that automate manual processes and support new product offerings.
• Create unit, integration, and automated test cases and collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in peer code reviews and apply Agile and DevOps practices to deliver reliable software.
• Maintain technical documentation, change logs, and code comments while collaborating with internal and external user groups.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
• Web development experience with Java/J2EE and AngularJS or React in service-oriented architectures.
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Bootstrap Grid System, single-page applications, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with high-performance web applications, SQL, and databases such as Oracle or MariaDB.
• Some experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and package deployments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the Atlassian stack, including JIRA and Confluence; a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science is preferred.
