Senior Technical Product Manager (Medical Devices)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Greater Boston area, with flexible onsite days and hours. In-person office hubs are available in Paris, Boston, New York, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Salary: $147,000–$167,000 per year, plus equity, PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Own product requirements, user needs, intended use, system-level definition, and roadmaps for a major medical device product line.
• Translate customer, clinical, technical, and business needs into development priorities and actionable requirements.
• Lead cross-functional product development from concept and feasibility through verification, validation, manufacturing transfer, commercialization, and sustaining engineering.
• Coordinate usability studies, customer evaluations, clinical feedback, product validation, and Agile development practices.
• Drive tradeoff discussions involving functionality, usability, technical risk, manufacturability, regulatory requirements, cost, and schedule.
• Partner with engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and external partners while communicating status, risks, decisions, and roadmap updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in product management, systems engineering, device development, or related technical leadership.
• At least 3 years supporting development and commercialization of hardware, medical devices, wearables, or other multidisciplinary products.
• Experience with product requirements, roadmaps, design controls, requirements traceability, risk management, verification and validation, manufacturing transfer, and commercialization.
• Ability to work across hardware, firmware, software, systems, manufacturing, quality, clinical, and regulatory teams and manage technical tradeoffs.
• Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and technical aptitude.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries, medical devices, healthcare technology, or other safety-critical products.
• Experience with Ketryx, Jira, Figma, GitHub, Asana, or similar product development and collaboration tools.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
